Ramon F. Garcia & Company, Certified Public Accountants (RFG & Co), one of the country’s most trusted names in the industry, is set to mark its silver anniversary with a grand celebration and thanksgiving at the New World Renaissance Hotel in Makati City today.

A small company at the outset, RFG & Co. has grown from offering dedicated accounting services to providing one of the most complete professional business consultancy in the Philippines.

“Our business is a business of trust. We would not have reached our 25th year without the trust and confidence of our clients, the dedication of highly competent staff, and of course, without the guidance from the Lord,” said RFG & Co. founder and managing partner Ramon F. Garcia.

RFG & Co. started humbly as a solo venture in 1981 when Garcia left his employer to pursue a lifetime dream of having his own accounting and auditing firm. In 1982, he partnered with his former colleagues to form Garcia, De Castro and Company. The company name later changed to Ramon F. Garcia & Co.

Despite the political turmoil that marked the '80s which started with the assassination of former Senator Benigno Aquino Jr. to the People Power Revolution, the firm continued to grow, building its workforce by recruiting topnotch students from different accounting schools.

Aside from expanding its portfolio of clients and services, RFG & Co. also focused on the development of its employees for much of the decade, offering constant workshops and seminars to improve their skills and learn new ones. In 1995, RFG & Co. became a member firm of CS International. Three years later, it became a member firm of the prestigious TAG International.

Because of its stature and strong reputation among clients, RFG & Co. was readily accepted as a member in 2002 in the prestigious AGN International, a worldwide association of independent accounting and consulting firms.
